Futomaki – thickly rolled sushi with generous filling and that has been cut into very big pieces. There are many different versions of futomaki but the most common preparation method is to roll rice and two to five ingredients (e.g. cucumber, Japanese omelet, carrot, salmon and giant prawn meat) in seaweed.
